FAQs-Spectacular Saturday Tournaments

What is the Spectacular Saturday Quarterly Tournament?

  • These are remote dart tournament events operated by the NADO office on the Franchisee’s electronic dart boards that participate in NADO Member Player Rewards Program.
  • These events are reverse handicapped Bring Your Partner Doubles events with a Team Cap of 130 and players must register online through NADO’s registration program by 7 am central time the Friday before the tournament.
  • National Player Rewards Points (NPRPs) are NOT awarded for the Spectacular Saturday tournament.

How can I qualify for Spectacular Saturday?

  • One player on a team must have played 10 league nights in a NADO-managed remote league or in 10 NADO Daily Remote Tournaments (NDRTs) or a combination of NADO-managed remote league nights and NDRTs equal to 10 in the preceding quarter and both players must have at least 96 NADO league games in the previous 12 months.
  • Local Franchisee league play and Franchisee remote league play do NOT qualify players for Spectacular Saturday.
  • Local and NADO-managed Member Player Rewards Tournaments (MPRTs) do NOT qualify players for Spectacular Saturday.

Are there other specific rules regarding qualification?

  • League nights must be scheduled and completed during the preceding quarter. Matches that were not scheduled during the qualifying period but played as makeup matches or played ahead during the qualifying period do not count towards qualification.
  • Players that earned points toward the prior Spectacular Saturday Tournament but did not play will have those points carry over to the current tournament's qualifying period.
  • If multiple teams are playing at one location, there must be a separate dart board available for each team.
  • At least one person on the team must be able to view the bracket and score the match on Compusport and communicate with the bracket and tournament manager using GroupMe.
