NADO RULES FOR BULLSHOOTER EUROPE 2020 TEAM USA

The North American Dart Organization is the recognized affiliate of Bullshooter Europe for 2020. In that capacity we will be selecting Team USA and potentially Team Canada for participation in the International Challenge at the 2020 Bullshooter Europe event.

THE TEAM: Typically, the international teams are limited to 6 players, with a least one female per team. Also, a female must compete in every match and shoots first. However, in the past, BSE has allowed the USA team to be comprised of 8 players. These rules reflect the belief that they will allow us to continue with 8 players on the team. If not, then adjustments will be made to the numbers in the qualifying formats accordingly. The team captain will be selected by NADO and may or may not be a player on the team. Players will be required to wear the Team USA jersey supplied by NADO. Failure to do so will be grounds for removal from the team. (So, if you have a shirt sponsor get them to waive any requirement that you not wear another company’s product for this event.)

ELIGIBILITY:

  • Players must have completed at least 96 league games and play at least 5 separate nights with a NADO franchisee or through NADO remote leagues in the 12 months preceding the Bullshooter Europe event.
  • Players must have completed at least one NADO Bullshooter Europe qualifying event in 2019 or 2020. Exception: League staff members of NADO franchisees that meet the other requirements are not required to have competed in a NADO BSE Qualifier.
  • Players must meet any requirements as established by the Bullshooter Europe Tournament Director.

QUALIFYING EVENTS: After all the NADO BSE Trip Prizes are awarded we will hold separate remote singles Team USA qualifying tournaments for men & women (likely sometime in early 2020). These gender-based events will also be divided into two separate events. There will be no entry fee for these events. Players will be required to pay for the cost of tournament games. The formats will be announced.

  1. Event #1 - Men’s Trip Winners: Open to all men that earned a trip prize through NADO Tournament competition. The top 3 spots in this singles event will earn a place on Team USA.
  2. Event #2 - Other NADO Men’s Travelers: Open to all qualified NADO men’s players including players that did not advance in the Men’s Trip Winners event that are attending BSE 2020. Proof of travel payment required. The top 3 spots in this singles event will earn a place on Team USA.
  3. Event #3 - Women’s Trip Winners: Open to all women that earned a trip prize through NADO Tournament competition. The top spot in this singles event will earn a place on Team USA.
  4. Event #4 - Other NADO Women’s Travelers: Open to all qualified NADO women’s players including players that did not advance in the Women’s Trip Winners event. Proof of travel payment required. The top 1 spot in this singles event will earn a place on Team USA.
  5. If there are no women that earned a trip through NADO competition, then event #3 will not be held and the top 2 spots in event #4 will earn a place on Team USA.
  6. If only 6 players are allowed in the BSE International event then event #1 will award 3 spots, event #2 will award 2 spots, event #3 will not be held and event #4 will award 1 spot. Also, women will be eligible to compete against men in events #1 & 2 if eligible.
